What kind of urticaria do I have?

The following chapters provide a precise description of the various forms of urticaria. It is important to differentiate between the different forms of urticaria (there are twelve of them) because each brings with it a different prognosis and therapy. It's also important to know that it is possible to suffer from more than one form of urticaria at once: the most common accompanying illness for urticaria is another form of urticaria. The following ten questions are intended to help you determine which form(s) of urticaria is/are affecting you. Please read through each question carefully and then decide on an answer. A key to understanding the answers then follows at the end of the question portion.

1.: I have or have had itching wheals and/or swelling of the skin (angioedema).
